What is the best way to reach out to you?

Who designed that graphic of the fabulous multi-tasking lady?
My artist friend, Mitch Breitweiser, who use to sketch Captain America for Marvel Comics. All I did was tell him my brand, and he did the rest. 

How long does it take for you to organize?
Completion time can vary based on the size of the space and extend of the clutter.  However, it usually takes about 6 hours per room, on average.  If you have a multi-use space with numerous closets, then it could take considerably longer to complete.  Assessments play an essential role in determining the length of time it will take to reach your goals.

How do I hire you for services?
Contact me to setup the initial assessment.  We will meet, tour your space, discuss challenges, possibilities, and define your goals. This meeting typically take no more than one hour.    

Do you charge for the initial assessment? 
The initial assessment in your home is $50.  However, if services are booked the fee will serve as a deposit and be applied as a credit on your invoice.

How do you charge?
All services are charged by the hour, with a minimum of two hours for new clients utilizing me for organizational services. You will be charged by the quarter hour after the first two hours. Clients with projects in the process of being completed or clients utilizing me for maintenance (see below) do not have a minimum number of hours. Concierge services and lifestyle consulting are always charged by the quarter hour. Gas & mileage are included in the hourly rate for anything within a 30 mile radius of Nashville. For concierge services more than 30 miles outside Nashville, you will be charged for time, plus gas & mileage.


What if I don't live in Nashville, but I want to hire you for services?
Skype and phone make it easy for me to reach people from all across the nation. The commitment is low, since you can book sessions as and when they are needed. Organization, event and lifestyle consulting sessions are all available (concierge services cannot be done outside Middle Tennessee).  The initial assessment is a bit different than the one listed above.  Via phone we will speak for up to 30 minutes, at which time you will tell me what goals you want to achieve and I will explain how I am able to assist.  The cost is $25, which will serve as a deposit and deducted from your invoice if you choose to book a consulting session with me. During the actual sessions we can utilize Skype, where you are able to show me your actual space (preferred if organization or design services are being provided), or we can visit via phone and speak on any wide range of topics. You are more than welcome to send me pictures via email if Skype is not your preferred method of communication.  All services are priced by the hour, with no minimum required. 


Do you ever travel to clients home if they live outside Nashville?
Definitely! If you want me to come to you for organization, design or lifestyle consulting, we can custom create a proposal that fits your needs and budget. However, travel and hotel will be at your expense, in addition the my hourly rate. I am also currently planning a travel schedule for 2016, which will include a handful of cities where I will be doing in-home consults. This is a great opportunity to hire me without having to pay for my hotel and travel expenses. If you are interested in having me come to you or want me to consider coming to your city, please send me an email. 

Do you purchase organizational containers?
Containers are personal for each clientPlastics, baskets, bins and vintage crates - all clients are different on how they want things to look.  You can either have me repurpose what you already own, or have me offer suggestions on what new items would be helpful to purchase.  Anything purchased for you will be at your expense, but I do share any coupons with clients when I have them available.

Do you use a label maker? 
I use the Brother P-Touch D200 with white tape and black ink.  I will label bins for you, if requested, with an expense fee of $15 to cover the cost of suppliesI have resources for chalkboard labels and other more unique options, so feel free to think outside the box!  

I need your organizational services, but what if I can't keep things looking tidy?
Almost all of my clients that have hired me for organizational services schedule me for maintenance visits afterwards.  Whether you need paperwork filed or clothing hung back in color coordinating order, it can be done on a regular basis or scheduled as-needed.    

Do you have a favorite work related "tool"?
Sharpies!  I have them in my purse, car, and just about every drawer in my house.  I also am a big fan of Ziploc baggies in all different sizes.  They are an easy and inexpensive way to keep things organized and I love them for travel.    

What exactly is a lifestyle consultant?
As a lifestyle consultant, I help find solutions that work for you to ensure a better quality of living. This may be with personal style, well-being, healthy eating, time-management, home design, or starting your own business.  Sometimes getting a little assistance from an unbiased individual is all that is needed to get our lives moving in the right direction. 

You also do house and animal sitting?
Yes, but currently I have a wait list for new clients that require this service. There are only so many hours in the day to check on animals and only so many days in the month that I can stay somewhere other than my home. 

What is your privacy policy?
The privacy of those who visit this web site is of primary concern to The Solution Girl.  None of the data gathered from this website is shared with outside parties.
